Bridges
Fixed prosthetics that bridge a gap by anchoring to the healthy teeth on either side.
01
Overview
A bridge fills the gap from a missing tooth by anchoring a false tooth to the healthy teeth on either side with crowns. It's a fixed (non-removable) solution that restores chewing and keeps surrounding teeth from shifting.
02
Who it's for
- A single missing tooth between two healthy, strong neighboring teeth
- Patients who want a fixed replacement without the surgery involved in an implant
- Situations where implants aren't possible due to bone loss
03
How it works
Two visits, similar to a pair of crowns:
- Prep — the anchoring teeth are shaped to receive crowns; impressions are taken.
- Placement — the three-unit bridge is fitted, checked, and cemented.
