Porcelain Crowns
Full-coverage caps that restore a damaged tooth to its original shape and strength.
01
Overview
A porcelain crown is a custom-milled cap that covers and protects a tooth too damaged for a filling. It restores full shape, strength, and chewing function — while looking indistinguishable from your other teeth.
Most crowns last 15–20 years.
02
Who it's for
- A tooth with a large crack, fracture, or extensive decay
- A tooth that has had a root canal and needs protection
- A tooth with a large old filling that's beginning to fail
- The top of a dental implant
03
How it works
Typically two visits:
- Prep & impressions — we shape the tooth to receive the crown and place a temporary.
- Placement — the final crown is color-matched, checked for bite, and permanently cemented.
